Karnataka: MMTC bags 4 gold medals for export performance

THE public sector MMTC Ltd has bagged four gold medals for the best export performance from Karnataka.

A company release said here on Wednesday that the awards were given for the best performance for export of minerals and mineral-based products under non-SSI category during the years 2000-01 and 2001-02. For the same category, it was the best exporter from Bellary during the years 2002-03 and 2003-04. MMTC's Director Mr Adarsh Goyal received the awards.

MMTC is the largest exporter of minerals from India and the largest importer of bullion and non-ferrous metals. It is also the country's leading exporter and importer of agro commodities and emerging energy products trader.
