GE Shipping gets new vessel

Mumbai , March 11

GREAT Eastern Shipping has taken delivery of its first Ice Class Vessel, a 1.59-lakh DWT Suezmax tanker.

The tanker, Jag Lok, which is a double hull vessel, was built at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries. With this addition, the company's fleet strength has increased to 72 vessels, comprising 42 ships and 30 offshore units.

The new building orders of the company comprise six tankers and eight offshore support vessels.
