Hand-crafted marvels

Baiki, an artisan from Churchandpur in Manipur, engaged in making the home décor items made of cloths and dry plants at the Heritage Festival in Hyderabad on Friday. She earns around Rs 2,000 a month. The fair is organised by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Union Ministry of Textiles. She expects a sales turnover of Rs 70,000 in the 15-day festival.
