CII-GBC to organise meet on turbo machinery

THE CII-Sohrabji Green Business Centre (CII-GBC) is planning to organise a two-day Turbomachinery-2005 here next month, focussing on improvement opportunities in turbo machinery.

The seminar, beginning April 15, would cover a range of issues such as latest trends and technologies in turbo machinery. It would also cover design aspects for better efficiency, success stories, latest control systems, maintenance management and condition monitoring, a CII-GBC spokesman said in a press release.

"Turbo machinery plays a key role in day-to-day operations of energy intensive industries like power, chemical, fertilisers, cement and steel plants. Availability, reliability and operating efficiency of these machinery will have an impact on the overall performance of the unit," he said.
