Direct Marketing Amway to launch male grooming products Our Bureau
Mangalore , March 14 AMWAY India, a company in the direct selling channel, is planning to launch a range of male grooming products. Addressing presspersons here, Mr P. Sanker, Director (Legal and Corporate Affairs), said that the company is planning to launch five to six male-grooming products under `Dynamite' brand. These products are likely to be launched between May and June. Apart from this, some more products will be launched in the cosmetics, personal care and nutrition categories. Recently, Amway India launched its skin care range of cosmetics called Attitude. The brand is endorsed by film personality Diya Mirza. This is for the first time that Amway India has gone for a brand ambassador for any of its product categories, he said. Amway India offers over 50 products in four categories - personal care, home care, nutrition and wellness and cosmetics. To a query on its manufacturing units, he said that most of Amway India's products are manufactured through seven contract manufacturing facilities in the country. Another such contract manufacturing facility is on the cards in Himachal Pradesh. "Local manufacturing provides us the flexibility in terms of offering our products in multiple pack sizes at more convenient price points," he said.
