Meet on food processing from March 25

A NATIONAL Convention on Prospects for Food Processing Sector in Andhra Pradesh is being organised by the APITCO at Vijayawada on March 25-26.

The convention will focus specifically on the potential opportunities available for the prospective entrepreneurs in the sector.

Speakers drawn from various research institutions, corporates, financial institutions, related Government agencies and consultancy organisations will address various topics.

The delegates from rich coastal Andhra and other parts of the State and neighbouring States are likely to participate in the convention, according to an APITCO release.

It is aimed at creating awareness about the potential for food processing industries, which enables the farming activity to be more sustainable.
