A modern touch

A. Roy Chowdhury

A group of students from fashion and lifestyle accessories section of the National Institute of Fashion Technology display newly designed stone and terracotta products in Hyderabad on Monday.

NIFT launched a project to update the designs of traditional stone-carving and terracotta works in the State. A team from NIFT recently organised two workshops to educate traditional artisans on modern designs, which have a larger market potential.
