Satyam to back health centre

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Satyam Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of the Satyam Computer Services Ltd, has adopted one of the Urban Health Posts at Bhoiguda here, conceptualised by the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad.

The Urban Health Posts were started by the MCH to give free medical aid to pregnant women and children living in the slums.

These UHPs were catering to mother and child care along with treatment for communicable diseases such as diarrhoea, TB, and leprosy for the whole family and conducting mass immunisation programmes like pulse polio, according to a Satyam statement.
