Kerala varsity confers Ph D for thesis on career growth

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The University of Kerala has conferred a Ph D degree on Mr K. Suresh Kumar for his thesis on "Career growth and success of managerial professionals."

The thesis was prepared under the supervision of Dr R. Gangadharan Nair, Professor, Institute of Distance Education, Kerala University.

A management professional, Mr Suresh Kumar has served as Secretary, Kerala State Productivity Council for three years, apart from working in different capacities with the National Institute of Personnel Management.

He won the Young Manager's Trophy for Year 2004 in recognition of contributions to modern HR (human resources) practices. Mr Suresh Kumar is currently working as Head, Human Resources, with Toonz Animation India, leading animation player based in Technopark here.
