Bangalore , March 16

VAN Heusen, a premium menswear from Madura Garments, in association with Outlast Technologies, has unveiled `Cool Pants', structured to keep the user cool although the temperature outside may be pushing the limits of thermometer.

The cool pants fabric is treated by a special technology called Smart Fabric Technology, which gives the trousers the power to absorb coolness from the atmosphere (for example, an air-conditioned office) and retain it.

"When you step out into a warmer environment, these trousers release all the coolness back to you. Moreover, the property is retained through innumerable washes and is resistant to washing machine, harsh detergents and ironing," Mr Shital Mehta, Brand Head of Van Heusen, said. These trousers are priced at Rs 1,599 and are available in 10 different shades.
