Software Capco opens Bangalore facility Our Bureau

Bangalore , March 16 BELGIAN IT service provider Capco, which has invested over a million dollars in its India facility, expects to increase its headcount in the following months, Mr Rob Heyvaert, Founder, Chairman and CEO, has said. The company expects to touch 300 people by 2006, from 100 now in its largest development centre outside Europe, to provide a variety of facilities to Capco customers globally, including technology development and support services and outsourced data migration and management services. "Capco expects the number of financial services clients serviced by Capco Bangalore to grow significantly in 2005,'' Mr Heyvaert said. Beligan Crown Prince Philippe inaugurated the company's new facility here on Wednesday, even as Mr Heyvaert said the company was looking to expand to new facilities soon. Capco has software centres in Antwerp and Frankfurt and provides integrated consulting, processing services and products for the financial services industry, capital markets, private clients and asset management and banking.
