Bangalore , March 17

HEWLETT-PACKARD has extended its Simply StorageWorks initiative to the Indian market that aims to simplify storage solutions for small and medium businesses (SMBs).

In India, the SMBs account for more than 60 per cent of the country's total IT spend.

"Increasingly, they are finding their data storage needs becoming more demanding. HP's Simply StorageWorks initiative will simplify storage and provide SMBs with storage options based on ease of use and affordability," said Mr Avijit Basu, HP India Country Manager (StorageWorks Division).

India is among the few Asia Pacific countries where the global initiative is being launched.
