Anil Ambani meets TRAI chief

New Delhi , March 17

THE Vice-Chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Mr Anil Ambani, on Thursday, met Mr Pradip Baijal, Chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

While sources said that the discussion lasted for almost two hours, the details of the meeting are not known yet.

The meeting comes as the two Ambani brothers are involved in a battle for control over RILand Reliance Infocomm. Mr Anil Ambani is also understood to have met the Minister of Communications and IT, Mr Dayanidhi Maran, and the Home Minister, Mr Shivraj Patil, over the last few days.

Mr Baijal could not be reached for comments.
