HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, released a CD comprising an e-governance solution for the drug control department.

Commenting on the project, he said e-governance ensured transparency, while saving time and energies for stakeholders in getting information and downloading applications. Besides providing comprehensive information on various issues related to the subject, the CD comprised details of 336 court judgments.

The solution was developed by Mr S. Vijayakumar, a drug inspector at Eluru, for the department in West Godavari district. The Chief Minister said the Government would expand this project to other parts of the State.
