HYDERABAD: As part of its new marketing initiative, BPCL has opened a `Retail Visual Identity' (RVI) outlet, the first in Andhra Pradesh, at nearby Nagole and plans to set up 1,000 such outlets by September.

Speaking to newspersons after inaugurating the outlet, Mr S. Krishnamurti, Executive Director (Retail), said that the outlets offer the customers the right ambience and personalised care.

At these outlets, customers get value-added services such as company-run stores. The design for the company-owned outlet was prepared by a team from Industrial Design Center at IIT, Mumbai. The corporation will have 275 such outlets by March-end. "We are going to have 1,000 RVI outlets by September."

Of these, Andhra Pradesh would have 100, including 10 in the twin cities. He assured the BPCL service station dealers that their outlets too would get a facelift on RVI designs.
