The Hindu Business Line : Rail tickets thru Idea

KOCHI: The subscribers of Idea Cellular Ltd can book rail tickets through their mobile phones. The company, along with the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), introduced this facility on Monday.

It will be available at a fee of Rs 6.99 per minute to Idea customers accessing the service, a press release here said. Besides, a fee for Rs 40 for non-AC and Rs 60 for AC tickets would be charged by the IRCTC for home delivery of tickets, it added.
