Thiruvananthapuram , March 21

TTK Prestige, the country's leading kitchen appliances brand, is planning to open 100 `Smart Kitchen' showrooms across the country.

The company has opened two new showrooms in Kollam and Thriuvananthapuram in Kerala, taking the total number of such retail outlets to 50.

Mr S. Ravi Chandran, Managing Director, TTK Prestige, said here on Saturday that the Smart Kitchens form part of the company's initiatives in the areas of new products with customer-centric innovation, new quality ideas in manufacturing and new channels in distribution and customer care.

He said the company's growth was around 35 per cent in 2004-05 as against less than five per cent growth in the market. The company was able to achieve such high growth through refreshing of its product portfolio with the launch of a new range of appliances.

The company is planning to upgrade its key dealerships to complement the Smart Kitchen outlets. The stores will have several consumer activities like "Prestige Privilege Club."
