Auto engg centre of excellence in Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: The PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, is establishing a Centre of Excellence in Automobile Engineering, named after a former student late S. Karivaradhan, an ace rallyist and racing car designer.

The centre is being established with the seed capital of 1976 batch students, of which Kari, as he was popularly known, was a member.

Mr G.K. Sundaram, Chairman, Lakshmi Mills, Coimbatore, will dedicate the `Karivaradhan Centre of Excellence in Automobile Engineering' at a function in the college on Wednesday, according to a college release.
