IA to launch daily flights to Bangkok, Sharjah from Mumbai

INDIAN Airlines will introduce daily links from Mumbai to Bangkok and Sharjah in the summer schedule that comes into effect on March 27. The airline will operate an Airbus A320 flight on these sectors.

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, IC-593 will leave Mumbai at 4.15 a.m. and reach Bangkok at 9.50 a.m. (local time).

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, IC-593 will depart from Mumbai at 4.25 a.m. and reach Bangkok at 10 a.m. (local time). In the return direction, IC-594 will leave Bangkok at 7.40 p.m. (local time) and arrive in Mumbai at 10 p.m.

According to an official statement, a special fare of Rs 12,500 is available on a return ticket in the economy class from Mumbai to Bangkok. This fare is also available for travel from Pune, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Indore, Mangalore, Rajkot, Nagpur, Goa, Jamnagar, and Aurangabad via Mumbai.

On the Mumbai-Sharjah sector, IC-681 will leave Mumbai at 5 a.m. and reach Sharjah at 1.30 a.m. (local time). In the return direction, IC-682 will leave Sharjah at 2.20 a.m. (local time) and arrive in Mumbai at 6.15 a.m..

A special fare of Rs 8,000 is available for a return ticket in the economy class from Mumbai to Sharjah.

The airline will also launch a third daily flight on the Mumbai/Kolkata/Mumbai sector from March 27.

IC-677 will leave Mumbai at 6.55 a.m. and reach Kolkata at 9.25 a.m. In the return direction, IC-678 will leave Kolkata at 7.40 p.m. and arrive in Mumbai at 10.10 p.m.

A `Fly Select' fare of Rs 3,721 for travel in the economy class is available on all three flights between Mumbai and Kolkata, the statement said.
