THE Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in completing the process of allotment of land to companies such as TCS, Satyam Computers and Wipro in Visakhapatnam.

He has directed officials concerned to expedite the formalities like processing and preparation of layout for allocation of land to the software companies.

With regard to the request of some new IT companies for land, the Chief Minister has advised officials to stipulate a condition that they should present a roadmap of their operations before seeking allotment of land.

Referring to suggestions of creating satellite townships, he said that the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) could be allowed to take up 10 housing projects.
