Direct Bangkok flight to Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Bangkok Airways is likely to operate a direct flight to Hyderabad. According to Mr Arja Srikanth, Additional Secretary to Government, said the Vice-President of Bangkok Airways, Mr Peter, showed interest to launch the service after visiting the Andhra Pradesh Tourism stall at the International Travel Bureau (ITB) held at Berlin recently.

Mr Srikanth said travel agents from Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden would visit Andhra Pradesh in the next two months to get acquainted with the tourism potential in the State. At the ITB expo, the Andhra Pradesh team promoted Hyderabad as a convention and wellness tourism centre. Puttaparthi too was showcased, he said here in a press release.
