Santhanam elected CII-TN Chairman

Chennai , March 27

MR B. Santhanam, Managing Director, Saint-Gobain Glass India Ltd, has been elected Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry - Tamil Nadu (CII-TN) for 2005-06. Mr Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, whole-time Director, Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd, is the Vice-Chairman.

Mr Santhanam was the Vice-Chairman of CII-TN during 2004-05. A B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Mr Santhanam has been closely associated with the CII. He has also been the Chairman of the All India Flat Glass Manufacturers' Association.


Mr Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu

Mr Jayavarthanavelu was the chairman of the CII Coimbatore Zone during 1997-98 and the chairman of the textiles sub-committee of CII-Southern Region during 2002-2003.
