Politics and politicians

This is with reference to the article `When politics is degraded to political adventurism' (Business Line, March 26).

It was indeed an expression of grave concern with India's political ethos. It is time that all right-thinking people realised that politics is too serious a business to be left to politicians alone.

We have to think deeply of the lamentable fact that blatant violations of the law by politicians not only take place but have been institutionalised.

Kangayam R. Rangaswamy
