Maruti driving school launched at Kollam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Maruti Udyog Ltd has launched its second driving school in the country at Kollam in Kerala.

The `Maruti Driving School' in Kollam was inaugurated on Monday by Mr K. Saito, Director-Marketing and Sales, Maruti Udyog Ltd, says a company press release.

While Maruti has designed the training programme, the actual management of the driving school will be done by the company's dealer in Kollam.

Besides practical skills, the schools will also provide students with attitudinal and behavioural training to improve their driving. Instructors working at the school have been trained at the New Delhi-based Institute of

Driving Training and Research. Students will initially learn to drive on computer-controlled car simulators, before actually driving on the road, the release adds.
