Our Bureau

New Delhi , March 30

IN a bid to promote rural marketing specialists, leading rural marketing agencies have formed the Rural Marketing Agencies' Association of India (RMAAI).

"The association has been formed primarily to promote, improve, develop and further the cause of rural marketing," said the RMAAI founder President, Mr R.V. Rajan.

The aim of the association is to improve the overall understanding of rural markets by the corporate world, besides setting benchmarks in areas of performance evaluation and financial practices, he said.

The association would conduct seminars, workshops and conferences besides running courses in rural marketing and undertaking syndicated research in rural marketing on selected topics.
