Benz Auto changes name to Focuz

Kochi , March 31

THE Rs 200-crore Benz Automobiles Pvt Ltd, one of the leading automobile spare parts company and authorised dealers of Hero Honda and Tata Commercial vehicles, has changed its name to Focuz with the completion of 25 years of business in the State.

The company has decided to change the name from the commencement of the next financial year from April 1. The change is only in the name but the shareholders, management, address etc would remain the same, according to Mr P.T. Jose, Chairman and Managing Director.

Started as a small partnership firm in 1978, he pointed out that the company has now 10 diversified units with 95 branches. It has also diversified into other sectors such as animation industry, marketing of branded PCs as well as tourism.

The company had started an in-house animation production centre to develop the talents required by the international market. H said the company is also planning to set up technology enabled services in Kochi soon.
