Zenith Computers keen on exports

Our Bureau

Coimbatore , March 31

HAVING created a niche in the education and laptop PC market in India, Zenith Computers is now looking at making impressive gains on the export front.

"Our major market is West Asia and Africa. We began our exports with the SAARC countries, but there, the market itself is very small. Iran and Iraq are emerging as potential growth areas," Ms Devita Saraf, Executive Director, Zenith Computers Ltd, told Business Line.

Ms Saraf said the company has rolled out a series of laptops for different segments, from starters to the high-end users. "The Executive Laptop and the Director Laptop have been big hits," she added.

The company is targeting a business volume of Rs 300 crore this year.
