Stock Markets Jhunjhunwalas holding in Nagarjuna Const reaches 11.09 pc Our Bureau
Hyderabad , March 31 THE equity holding of Mr Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, the Mumbai-based leading stockbroker, along with persons acting in concert, in the Hyderabad-based Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCCL) has now reached 11.09 per cent with the recent conversion of warrants into equity shares, he informed the stock exchanges. As per the information provided by him, up to March 28, he along with persons acting in concert were holding 14,25,000 shares of NCCL. On March 29, they have been intimated of conversion of warrants into 2,50,000 shares of NCCL, which takes their holding to 16,75,000 shares, which amounts to 11.09 per cent of the post-issue capital of the company. Before the conversion of warrants into shares, Mr Rakesh Jhunjhunwala along with persons acting in concert were holding 9.44 per cent in the company. At the end of December 2004, Mr Jhunjhunwala along with Ms Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was holding 12,25,000 shares, aggregating to 8.51 per cent of NCCL's equity. The promoters of the company were holding 32.09 per cent, mutual funds 16.74 per cent, FIIs 0.85 per cent, private corporate bodies 14.46 per cent and NRIs and OCBs 1.98 per cent. Mr Jhunjhunwala and persons acting in concert were holding shares under the Indian public category that has a total holding of 33.88 per cent.
