The Hindu Business Line : Hero Honda sales jump 27%

HERO Honda has recorded a 27 per cent jump in sales to 26,21,400 motorcycles in the last financial year. The company had sold a total of 20,70,157 motorcycles in 2003-04.

The company increased its exports by 63 per cent in the same period, selling 64,015 bikes.

During the month of March 2005 the company sold 2,31,593 units translating into a rise of 21 per cent over the same month last year (1,92,181 units). Hero Honda has sold in excess of 2 lakh plus units during every single month beginning October 2004.
