Honda sales rise 73 pc in '04-05

HONDA Siel Cars India has seen a 73 per cent rise in its sales during the last financial year. The company sold a total of 37,480 cars, against 21,703 cars in 2003-04.

While the Honda City witnessed a sales growth of 78 per cent in the last fiscal, the Accord and the CR-V grew by 46 per cent and 37 per cent, respectively. Meanwhile, the company sold a record 5,154 units during March 2005, which was also its highest ever sales in a month till now.
