A-I talks with agents to continue

Our Bureau

Mumbai , April 2

AIR-India and the travel agents' associations will meet for another round of talks next week even as the dialogue between the two parties on the commission issue ended in deadlock here on Saturday.

According to the Chairman of the Travel Agents' Association of India, Mr Balbir Mayal, while both parties maintained their positions on the commission issue, the one positive outcome was that the talks were amicable and the agents association was encouraged by the positive stance of the airline.

However, he added that the members of the association would continue their boycott of AI ticket sales, until the issue was resolved.
