Letters Human rights and the US
The United States has criticised the `poor' state of affairs regarding Human rights in India. The State department in a report has said, "Despite being a `vibrant democracy' with strong constitutional protections, India's human rights enforcement record needed improvement". While admitting that we should improve our Human rights enforcement, can anyone say what the situation in US is regarding Human rights both within the country and outside? V.S. Venkatavaradan Salem
