THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mr Anand Singh has been appointed as the Director of the Kerala State Information Technology Mission.

Announcing this here, an official spokesman said here that Mr Singh is an engineering graduate (Electronics and Telecommunication) from the Regional Engineering College in Allahabad, and belongs to the 2000 batch of the Indian Administrative Service.

Earlier, he has been Deputy Secretary with the IT Department and Sub-Collector in Kollam and Adoor.
