Value Labs to expand operations

Hyderabad , April 5

VALUE Labs, the technology solutions provider, plans to expand Indian operations and expects to double its headcount by the year-end by recruiting about 600 more techies and add a third development centre here.

The Chief Executive Officer of Value Labs, Mr Arjun Rao, has said that the expansion is aimed at broadening its solutions business particularly in the areas of wireless applications for the telecom sector. Towards this end, the company is in the process of establishing its third centre in Hyderabad, and this would be part of its overall $7-million investment in the cityAddressing a press conference here along with the Chief Technology Officer of SnapFish, Mr Bala Parthasarathy, said that Hewlett-Packard had late last month signed a deal to acquire SnapFish. Mr Arjun Rao said "over 100 people work for SnapFish and we expect to increase the number".
