The Hindu Business Line : LionBridge to set up centre in Chennai

LIONBRIDGE Technologies Inc has announced plans to expand its offshore operations with a new solution centre in Chennai, according to a press release.

The Chennai centre will initially employ 200 developers, test engineers and project managers, with more to be added as client activities pick up. It will also have a testing lab for its VeriTest division, which provides independent quality assurance and software testing services to enterprise organisations worldwide. The centre will meet the demand for cost-efficient application development, content development and testing solutions.

This will be LionBridge's second office in India; the first one in Mumbai has a workforce of 1,000.
