Events National management meet to be held in Hyderabad Our Bureau
Hyderabad , April 7 The 32nd National Management Convention of the All India Management Association (AIMA) is scheduled to be held here for the first time in five decades on September 16 & 17. Mr Sunil Alagh, President-AIMA, along with senior AIMA members and the President-HMA (Hyderabad Management Association) and other office bearers, met the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, recently for the conduct of its Annual Flagship event. He explained that for the first time the event is being brought here and AIMA has chosen Hyderabad as the venue since it is the most investment friendly State in the country. The Boston Consulting Group is the partner consultant for the convention and the theme would be `Best Practices, Next Practices Best of Best. Mr Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam Computer Services, would be the Chairman of the convention. Capt C.K. Veeresh, President, Hyderabad Management Association, said in a press release that the convention provides a platform for understanding the best practices in management. The convention will have speakers and management gurus from Asia Pacific, EU and US. Over 800 managers are expected to participate in the event, including delegates from SAARC countries. Capt Veeresh said companies such as Satyam Computers, Dr Reddy's, Andhra Bank, State Bank of Hyderabad, ITC International Business and Agritech Foods have expressed their solidarity to be associated with the convention.
