World Health Day observed at Ernakulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Surgicals major Terumo Penpol joined the Kerala State AIDS Control Society and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Blood Bank, Ernakulam, to celebrate the World Health Day at Ernakulam.

A seminar on "The role of blood technicians in promoting voluntary blood donation" was held on the occasion, a Terumo Penpol spokesperson said here. Mr Mohammedkutty Master, President, District Panchayat, Ernakulam inaugurated the session.

Mr C. Padmakumar, Executive Director, Terumo Penpol, delivered the keynote address. Mr M. K. Unnikrishna Panicker, Drugs Inspector, Kerala State AIDS Control Society, spoke on the occasion.
