Coimbatore , April 10

THE World Gold Council and the Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants Association are organising the Gold Jewellery India International Exhibition 2005 (GJIIE) at Chennai Trade Centre between May 20 and 22.

The organisers, after briefing the press about the proposed event, resumed the road show, which commenced at Kancheepuram a couple of days ago.

According to Mr Uday Kumar Vummidi, Chairman, GJIIE 2005 Organising Committee, reputed gold jewellery manufacturers can take advantage of this opportunity by presenting their collection and expanding business opportunities.

The fair is expected to open a world of opportunities for gold jewellery artisans, designers and other stakeholders to showcase latest trends and styles.

The organisers are expecting more than 150 gold jewellery manufacturers to participate in the fair..
