Advertising DY&R's Everest set for makeover Nirmal D. Menon
Mumbai , April 11 EVEREST Integrated Communications, the Dentsu Young & Rubicam Company (DY&R) group agency, will re-launch its corporate image by unveiling a new identity by April-end.The agency recently shifted to a new premise in Mumbai. The image changeover is part of the on-going agency restructuring process at Everest since January, said an informed source. The restructuring planned by Everest will also include segregating the agency functions broadly into idea management and implementation. Functions such as client service, creative execution and planning will have `ideators' working hand-in-hand with `implementers.' "Clients want a great brand idea, and this creative emphasis will enable all brands to be put on the map of competency," the source said. However, the Chief Operating Officer of Everest Integrated Communications, Mr Aniruddha Banerjee, declined to comment on the image turnaround. He confirmed that the agency restructuring was on, but said one would have to `wait and watch' for any further announcement. Incidentally, Everest emerged a serious contender in the Abby's festival for excellence in advertising held last month, and ended up sharing the second position with its sibling Rediffusion DY&R. Everest bagged two golds, two silvers, and a special silver.
