Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Systimax Solutions has launched Systimax AirSPEED Solution, an enterprise wireless LAN solution that will let customers deploy a wireless system, while they install the general LAN infrastructure.

"We believe this will lead to reduced costs for the enterprise," said Dr Ispran Kandasamy, Vice-President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific.

AirSPEED solution combines enterprise class access points with signal enhancing antennae and rack-mounted power over Ethernet devices to enable mobility, productivity and network security in the workplace, according to the company.

"By delivering end-to-end copper and fibre solutions with complementary WLAN solutions, we have made wireless infrastructure and integral part of enterprise network design," Dr Kandasamy said. The company also launched a cabling solution capable of supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet. "Data centres are expected to be a huge driving force behind the acceptance of 10 Gigabit Ethernet ," said Mr Luc Adriaenssens, Vice-President, R&D and Technology, Systimax Solutions.
