Hyderabad , April 13

ZOLON Tech Inc, the US-based $10-million IT solutions and consulting services company, proposes to set up an offshore development centre (ODC) in India in the areas of development, maintenance and production support. It also plans to set up a couple of network centres.

Addressing newspersons here on Tuesday, its Vice-President, Consulting Services, Mr Goutham Amarneni, said the company had recently started its Indian chapter with the launch of consulting and direct-hire IT staffing services at Hyderabad.

According to him, these services would focus on each layer of technical infrastructure in mid- to large-scale organisations. Clients demanding these services would receive highly qualified staff resources to assist them with their technology projects. He said the company planned to open network centres in Bangalore and Pune by the end of current fiscal.

Mr Amarneni said the investments would be substantial.
