Steel Essar Steel net up at Rs 590 cr Our Bureau
Mumbai , April 13 ESSAR Steel Ltd registered an increase in net profit for 2004-05 to Rs 590.15 crore from the previous corresponding Rs 59.99 crore, an official statement said on Wednesday. According to the statement, total income (net of excise) was up 65 per cent to Rs 6121.27 crore (Rs 3717.65). For the quarter ended March 31, the company had a net profit of Rs 272.78 crore (Rs 98.02 crore) on total income (net of excise) of Rs 1,926.64 crore (Rs 1227.11 crore).
