New Delhi , April 13

GODREJ Security Equipment Division, which offers a range of physical security products and fire doors, is planning to invest Rs 20 crore in the coming three years for expanding its manufacturing facility in Mumbai.

"We plan to invest Rs 20 crore in three years for expanding and upgrading our manufacturing unit in Mumbai. At present, we manufacture physical security products and fire doors in the facility," Mr D.E. Byramjee, Vice-President and Business Head (Security Equipment Division), Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co Ltd, said on the sidelines of a conference to announce an exclusive marketing and distribution tie-up with Masonite to launch a new line of Ready-To-Fit doors - Godrej Entranza.

The division is expected to clock revenues of Rs 182 crore during 2005-06 against Rs 141 crore in the year ended March 2005, he added. "We hope the division will grow to Rs 500 crore in the next six years," he said.

"The maximum growth in the current financial year will come from Godrej Entranza. Another growth area will be high pressure doors," he said.

The new Godrej Entranza range is estimated to contribute between Rs 8-10 crore of revenues in the current financial year and grow to Rs 100 crore in the next six years, Mr Byramjee added.

Godrej Entranza doors designed for commercial, institutional and primary household segments would be available at exclusive Godrej showrooms and perfect home outlets. With the price tag ranging from Rs 2,500 to over Rs 15,000 depending on the model, these doors would be available across the country through Godrej's network of 21 branches, 35 company showrooms and over 300 exclusive dealer outlets.
