Award for innovation

VISAKHAPATNAM: Synergies Dooray Automotive Ltd, a Rs 150-crore auto component company here, has bagged the award for innovative technology transfer instituted by Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

The award - Innovative technology transfer for the Innova Project (2004) - was presented recently in Bangalore by Mr Vijay Kirloskar, Joint Managing Director, to Mr B.S.N Raju of the Synergies.

Synergies manufactures aluminium alloy wheels for the newly-launched Innova car of Toyota Kirloskar. With more than 80 per cent market share in the segment, Synergies supplies components to Ford, Toyota, General Motors, Maruti, Mitsubishi and Mahindra & Mahindra.
