Consortium to develop township at Whitefield

WHITEFIELD, which despite being the early destination of IT parks missed out on real estate development, is fast catching up with the new plans for townships being planned by leading promoters.

Latest to join the hot chase to grab the premier position is a consortium of leading players in the industry, CPG Consultants, L&T and Singapore Piling and Civil Engineering Pvt Ltd (SPACE) will be developing an integrated township at an estimated cost of Rs 400 crore. The township will have 2,000 apartments with all the modern amenities for recreation, sports and jogging park.

The project is being executed by CPG Consultants as designers of the complex, while SPACE and L&T would be responsible for project management and construction engineering, respectively.

The `White Field Singa Garden' township would be assessed for CONQUAS (Construction Quality Assessment System) and will be certified for quality by Building and Construction Authority, a Government authority of Singapore, an initiative taken as a forerunner by the Indian promoter for residential sector.
