Petrol outlets in Kerala to remain closed

KOCHI: As part of the all-India strike called by the All India Federation of Petroleum Traders on April 18, all the petrol pumps in Kerala would remain closed from mid-night of April 17 to midnight April 18, according to an official release of the All Kerala Federation of Petroleum Traders.

The petroleum traders are pressing for their demands which include allowing commission at five per cent of the price of the product, introducing uniform price reducing the tax burden and paying temperature variation and shrinkage allowances etc.
