Kinfra interactive sessions on Kerala development

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kinfra is organising a series of global interactive sessions on the development of the State.

According to Dr G.C. Gopala Pillai, Managing Director, the State is not marketed well and not known to the world even though it has its strengths in high literacy and low mortality rates, excellent green environment and acclaimed tourist destinations. The proposed series is aimed at making it known to the world the State's high potential for development.

The first of the interactive sessions will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Mr Oommen Chandy.The adviser to the Union Finance Minister, Dr Parthasarathi Shome, will be the chief guest. He will talk on different aspects of the VAT system and also clarify doubts on it.

Dr Bhaskar Balakrishnan, Ambassador to Cuba, will speak on developments in the fields of biotechnology, IT, tourism, culture, ayurveda and food processing.
