Hyundai showroom opened at Guntur

GUNTUR: Hyundai Motors opened a new dealer showroom at Guntur on Sunday.

The Andhra Bank Chairman and Managing Director, T. Narayanaswami, formally declared it open in the presence of the Hyundai Motors South India Senior General Manager, Mr Y.J. Ahn, at Autonagar here.

The Hyundai General Manager said that the car manufacturer had 20 to 25 per cent market share in various segments of cars. It had achieved 2.12 lakh sale volume in India and had exported 75,000 units to the US, West Asia, and Europe. In seven years of its existence in the country, it had launched seven new products and Santro Xing was the most popular.

The Andhra Bank proposes to have tie-up with Hyundai and Honda for financing four-wheelers with some unique features in financing, which would be not available in direct cash purchase.

The Kusalava Motors Chairman, Mr Chukkapalli Kusalava, and his son Mr Prasad, said that the Guntur facility would have Sunday half-day service facility in addition to the on-phone vehicle pick-up service.
