Human Resources IIIT students get over 200 offers Our Bureau
Hyderabad , April 18 MICROSOFT India Development Centre (MIDC), Trilogy India and Adobe India Development were among the global majors who offered the highest salary packages for students of the Class of 2005 at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), here. The highest compensation of Rs 7.85 lakh was from MIDC to five B.Techs. in Computer Sciences. This was matched by Trilogy, which absorbed one student. Adobe, on the other hand, recruited three IIIT graduates, with Rs 5.5 lakh annual salary and stock options. Overall, IIIT has notched up placements with major global and Indian corporates for the class of 2005 in both undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. The batch of 156 students, which includes 92 students of B.Tech. Computer Sciences, received more than 200 offers, according to the IIIT Placement Cell. The companies that participated in the placement process included Adaptec India, Adobe, Computer Associates, Connexent, Honeywell, IBM, Infosys Technologies Ltd, Microsoft, Novell and Oracle.
