Security Anti-spyware products Our Bureau
COIMBATORE: Trend Micro has rolled out a series of products and services designed to combat spyware in the enterprise. The multi-layered approach offering, designed for Internet gateway, server and desktop, aims to provide a comprehensive, manageable and scalable solution. Coinciding with the launch, Trend Micro released some key findings of a survey conducted for the corporation by TechRepublic. The findings indicate a steep rise in the amount of spyware on networks, particularly in the last three months. It has lined up its anti-spyware products in such a way that the InterScan Web Security Suite blocks spyware from entering the network at the gateway, the first line of defence in the enterprise, and OfficeScan blocks unwanted spyware, adware, remote access tools and hacking tools. Damage Cleanup Services helps automate the cleanup of spyware and Control Manager co-ordinates with the company's products and services under a single Web-based management console.
